One of my favorite fabric manufacturers Maharam has teamed up with Nike to create a new fashionable walking shoe that I really adore. 
It takes a couple of fabric patterns from Maharam’s Layers collection designed by Hella Jongerius (Layers Vineyard Small in a custom color and Layers Garden Double in color Earth/Chocolate/Coral). Here Layers Garden Double pattern is seen as an upholstered bench, which is also quite nice:

The shoes sell for $250 US, but not a bad deal considering 1 yard of the fabric alone sells for $250. At least this way you get two fabulous shoes out of it too!
